Honestly, after experiencing PVE Tarkov, I can't go back. Never having to question whether I made a mistake or was cheated, or Tarkoved is too refreshing. Great armor change, hope they add post raid kill cams once your whole squad has left/died.

what were the changes vor the EFT and Area Patch today?

Fuck idk if BSG is more retarded or incompetent. This change was stupid. Why implement an armor plate system if theyre changing it to something nor too different rhan what we had before. The game needs vital organ hit boxes, that way even if yo7 do get hit in the soft bits tj2 bullets also have to hit where the heart would be to be immediately deadly.

very nice. now get rid of plates and reverse to the start 100%. this whole armour rework was silly from the get go and a perfect example why "realism" serves you nothing in video games. Armour should matter and people with better armour should have an advantage and not die from random bullshit hitboxes., We just need better ammo now on earlier traders lvl 3.

Wow look how fast BSG can add and tweak things when they are threatened. I have learned that threatening BSG gets us what we want. Fuck them, they burned all their goodwill, they are the enemy now.

Pro tip- If you use a painkiller or heal or even drinking, while still in the animation right click mag and select install and you will reload your weapon instantly. Great for long reload times and you can do it while serving.

i feel like we shouldnt be able to alter containers mid raid. cant take out ur serv kit or meds mid raid to stuff a GPU in ur butt, but still allow you to put bitcoin or cards in ur docs or sicc case.

For balancing reasons I'd rather have a more detailed player hitboxes/ballistics. A grazing shot shouldnt instakill you unless it did a massive amount of damage or fragmented and hit a vital area, but I also dislike that the armor is sacrificed for balance instead of "just" adjusting what is a vital area, armor feels significantly weaker than it used to now that individual plates have health and the size changes make it stick out a decent bit from the player hitboxes more from certain angles. I'd much rather take grazing shots that give me massive debuffs to my torso but I can heal or mitigate through meds, than have a grazing shot destroy the armor that protects the entirety of my chest. This isn't realistic but I think it is more so than the system they have now and is more forgiving if not more intricate.

hatchlings are bad? i would spend raid after raid, dying in the first 5 minutes, not able to afford anything, occasionally bringing what i spawned with as a scav if i managed to survive a scav run with it. then i got to wait an hour for my hp to refill. yeah, being a hatchling sucked and yall think they are an issue? wtf?

With almost a 9kd at level 28, more than 70% of all my kills are headshots. Just to say, people stress the importance of armor too much. Leg meta takes way too long to actually kill someone, when you’re trying to smoke them like a blunt for 440 health instead of running that same automatic fire in a line across their face for 35. I felt like my own armor wasn’t working before the change, and now it feels too good, but for the game’s sake I’d rather it feel the latter.

couldnt they have just added armpit/ shoulder area to the arm hitbox or give it its own/ not make it do as much damage to thorax as its not hitting vitals? i really liked the armour it felt like it evened the playing field and let the player with the better positiioning ambush people to the side

This was my favorite armor, used to be 55K easy with plates inside half the time Now it's 200K without plates :(

his setup looked so much better than yours. That's clearly why he used the Spear buffer tube adapter and possibly why the 12" handguard found its way there as well. All you gained is a perceived improvement in ADS time, but the slomo shows his reticle on target what? 2 frames? later than yours.

Woooow the bad thing that everyone was saying would happen with the new armor system, happened. What a surprise 😱😱 And they had to re-fix the armor system AGAIN. Maybe next time they won't brainlessly implement stuff without thinking of balance at all.

So how it is with the Thor now? You can put plates even the side plates and you still have tier 3 soft armor all around, isnt it better to take thor with plates instead of CPC?

Isn't the easiest and best way to deal with unrealistic hitboxes just by shrinking the thorax hitbox to the original plate area? The uncovered area then becomes arms and etc.🤔🤔🤔

wanting to like the new unified armor system, but getting random OHK throat shots to scavs is probably enough to make me start gearing towards that. honestly feels like the new head, eyes.

They need to revert this armour system change but make it so that if you get hit on the edge of your thorax it doesn’t give you heavy bleeds or any major damage as it’s just a scrape

but don't bullets need to go through plates + soft armor on "standart" armor and if you're using the 3rd type it only need to go through the plate
